Genre: Dance
by Christopher Kyle, directed by Robin Paterson

PLUNGE provides a candid snapshot of an entire generation as it traces the Labor Day weekend reunion of three friends who are approaching age thirty. Clare, Val and Mary were the best of friends back in college. Now Clare is a wealthy yet insecure corporate VIP and the liberal Val is stuck in an unhappy marriage with the conservative Harris -- who just week prior to the reunion, was involved in an aborted hotel room tryst with Clare. He drunkenly confides his almost-infidelity to the caustic Marty, who wastes no time in letting Val know the truth about her husband. His decision sets off chain reaction that has life-altering effects for everyone.
About the Company: The Bridge Theatre Company

Founded in 2004, The Bridge Theatre Company is a New York City-based ensemble of Canadian and American theatre artists dedicated to the cross-border development, workshop and production of new plays.  The company examines the relationship between these two contemporary theatrical cultures through the work of emerging playwrights, actors and directors.  Through its New Play Development program, the Bridge accepts a wide variety of script submissions from writers in the United States and Canada, hoping to discover and develop new plays that may examine everything from the bridges between two nations to the bridges between two people.  For more information, visit
