Manny Liyes is an actor and playwright from Brooklyn, NYC. After graduating from Baruch College with a B.A. in English Literature, he went on to study at The Acting Studio, Creative Acting Company and The School for Film and Television. He has appeared in several plays including Cactus Flower, Toughing Slumaria, Six Degrees of Separation, Barcinda Forest, Hot Dogs and Cracker Jacks, Culebra, Jack Kerouac: Catholic, Where the Sun Never Shines,Will Hurt, Brooklyn Bets Alexi , 3rd Year Anniversary, and Karp’s Last Text. He wrote his first play, Burke, in 2006. Over the next 3 years his plays have been featured in the NYC International Fringe Festival: Analog Friend (2007), Choke City (2008) and Savage International (2009). He recently completed his fifth play, Runo Rimac.
