A Night of Artistic Inspiration is a celebration of Rebel Theater Company's (RTC) first anniversary with guest speakers: Broadway star & legend Ruby Dee, poet laureate Amiri Baraka, New York State Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell, Fredi Walker-Browne, Tony Award winner Trezana Beverley, and many others. The event begins with a 7PM Reception followed by 8PM Arts Night awards ceremony with Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj presenting the first annual Revolutionary Award for Sustained Excellence to legendary theater producer Woodie King, Jr. The event culminates with an array of artistic performances celebrating RTC's first anniversary.
