In the new show, Miss Dexter shares the life she has lived from her young beginnings at the legendary Reno Sweeney, through a triumphant new beginning in 1991 when she returned to and continues to this day full-time performing to world-wide raves. Through profound interpretations of songs by the likes of: Harold Arlen, Sammy Cahn, Tom Waits, Irma Thomas, Abbey Lincoln, and Clint Black, she shares the results of her diverse and exciting career.
