New York Classical Theatre presents its signature panoramic style of theatre that keeps the shows, actors and audiences moving.  The actors move with the scene location changes every 10 to 15 minutes and the audience follows.  There are no lines to wait on, no tickets or reservations!  You just show up and all performances are FREE and are great for all ages.

Stephen Burdman, Artistic Director, will direct you in the right direction, so that you won't miss a thing.  When you enter a production uptown in Central Park at 103rd Street & Central Park West or downtown at Castle Clinton in Battery Park, you will be led to where the play begins.  The park's grounds, gardens, trees, rocks, benches and even the audience set the stage and scenery for the productions and then the fun really begins. When the sun goes down, the actors are lit by flashlights held by New York Classical Theatre's production team, with a little help from nature's fireflies.

Wear comfortable shoes or sneakers.  The shows are also wheelchair accessible.

New York Classical Theatre provides a great night of FREE theatre for the family, a date night, social groups, friends or even those flying solo.  Even dog owners are welcome to bring their cultured pooch! Shakespeare enthusiasts as well as those new to the Bard will have a great time experiencing Shakespeare with New York Classical Theatre.

Come early and have a picnic, but get ready to eat and run, once the play begins.  A great workout for your body and mind!
