An original musical about isolated kids, obsessed with the internet, who experience the enjoyable rewards of interacting in person, while engaging in productive artistic collaboration.
INTERACTION involves a bunch of lonely kids who all live in the same high-rise building in Manhattan but spend so much time cooped up in their apartments on computers that none of them know one another. One inspired boy joins artistic forces with a gifted girl and helps these kids to get off the internet, interact in person, and ultimately become good friends - with the enthusiastic encouragement of some wacky wise old adults who performed on the Vaudeville stage years ago.
The kids learn that though it often seems emotionally easier to deal with people remotely in the virtual world of cyberspace (simply delete when arguments arise), the greater rewards of real-life friendship are worth the risks.

Fildwith Ensemble Theatre presents the World Premiere of TIME BEING, a new off-off-Broadway musical beginning April 26, 2007 at Theatre Three. An innovative dreamlike new musical, TIME BEING explores the emotions of a passionate, bewildered group of young souls attempting to make the most of their brief physical time on earth – and to understand the purposeful significance of the human attachments they make there. The story takes place in a surrealistic spot where, during the time each day that their physical bodies are sleeping and their minds are dreaming, eight distinct souls meet to work out their frustrations and confusion about life. The eight characters bond, clash, ask countless unanswered questions... and ultimately realize that they are all deeply connected and that existence would be unthinkable without one another. Guided by three more experienced souls, the spirits learn that the "deal to feel" – to inhabit a body, to experience physical sensation and human emotion – is never easy and comes with much pain and discomfort, but also incomparable rewards.
