11th Annual NYC 15 MInute Play Festival  | Open: 04/18/05 Close: 04/30/05
It's fast, it's fun, it's where the audience gets to play critic and vote each night for their favorite play. See the winners of the semi-finals on April 29th & 30th and pick the overall Festival winner. Playwrights include: Series A - Jim Gordon, Michael Griffo, Jay Hanagan, Mark Harvey Levine and John Walch; Series B - Molly Smith Metzler, Joni Ravenna, S.W. Senek, D. Tucker Smith & Aoise Stratford. Stay for the awards ceremony after the last show on April 30.

It’s fast! It’s fun! It’s where the audience gets to play critic and vote for their favorite plays. 2010 marks the 16th anniversary of the Annual New York City 15 Minute Play Festival featuring 35 original short plays chosen from more than 300 submissions from throughout the United States. Audience members vote each night for their favorite play with the winners moving on to the finals and a chance to compete for cash prizes for Best Play, Best Direction, Best Performance and overall Audience Favorites. The Festival closing night on Saturday May 1 features an awards presentation. This year's playwrights include: Rosanna Yamagiwa Alfaro, Michael Bettencourt, Leslie Bramm, Ron Burch, Joshua H. Cohen, Stephen Cooper, Catia Cunha, Jo-el Doty, C.S. 18th Annual Nyc 15 Minute Play Festival  | Open: 04/23/12 Close: 05/05/12
It’s fast! It’s fun! It’s where the audience gets to play critic and vote for their favorite plays.

 2012 marks the 18th anniversary of the Annual New York City 15 Minute Play Festival presented by Turnip Theatre Company in association with American Globe Theatre and featuring 35 original short plays chosen from more than 250 submissions from throughout the United States.  Audience members vote each night for their favorite play with the winners moving on to the finals and a chance to compete for cash prizes for Best Play, Best Direction, Best Performance and overall Audience Favorites. Five semi-finalist plays are presented each of the festival's first seven evenings, April 23 through April 29 and the audience is balloted to select the best play each night. In addition, the festival producers choose three plays as "producers’ choices" to include in the finals. Selected plays move on to the finals and two additional performances on May 4 & 5 where a panel of judges chooses winners in three categories: Best Play, Best Direction and Best Performance and the audience votes for overall Audience Favorites. Finalists are also eligible for the Alan Minieri Playwriting Award presented in memory of Turnip Theatre Company's late Artistic Director.
