In 2010 Mischa Ipp and Georgia King established Little y with Alexis Davis whose life was tragically cut short. It is Little y’s mission to create dynamic and honest theatre that resonates with, inspires and cultivates a generation Y audience by exploring the question …Y?
It is also our aim to always create and perform in Alexis’ honour. Little y is currently based in NYC and Western Australia.
In 2013 Little y won Best WA Performance and was nominated for the Spirit of the Fringe at Fringe World for “Public Space” (co-produced with theMOXYcollective). We are currently co-producing “The Office of Dead Letters” by Heloise Wilson in NYC which has been accepted into STAGEfest and beginning our journey with Circuit West to tour “Scent Tales” through Western Australia. The grant and support we received from Circuit West was highly competitive with companies that have been creating high quality theatre for decades applying. Being just a toddler, we are excited to take on this challenge. In 2012 Little y co-produced “Persians” with Happy Dagger at PICA as part of Fringe World and produced “Glengarry Glen Ross” by David Mamet. 2011 saw Little y have two sell out seasons at The Blue Room Theatre one with their own devised show, “Scent Tales” (Best Production winner, The Blue Room Theatre Awards) and one with Patricia Cornelius’s “Slut” both to critical succes
