SPACE CAPTAIN: Captain of Space! is an original multimedia comedy mixing live theater with film and puppetry. The show is set in the world of 1930’s serial adventure stories like Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers, but with a very modern sense of humor. Upon arrival, the audience will be immersed in the world of a 1930’s cinema, and the entire show (including the live portions!) is in black and white.
The production will feature live cast Jeremy Banks, Alicia Barnatchez, Jesse Bernath, Sabrina Farhi, Jeremy Mather, Michele McNally, Matt Sears, Jeff Sproul, Jared Warner, Mike Wirsch, Matthew Wise, and D. Robert Wolcheck; the video cast also includes Nicolas Marti, Timothy Mather, Alexis Robbins, and Sean Williams. The creative team will include Costume Design by Caroline O’Hare, Lighting and Sound Design by Jeremy Mather, Set Design by Lindsey Moore, Puppet Design by Anna Paniccia, and Video Design and Production by Jeremy Mather; as well as an original score by Ben Lindvall.
