A 30-year-old woman on the lam from a New Jersey mental institution becomes the queen of Madison Avenue. Her extreme advertising campaigns are wildly popular, winning awards and blue chip clients. As well as the heart of New York’s most eligible bachelor. Still, her commercials wreak havoc with her boss, the Catholic Church, and certain cat owners. Avenue of the Americas is a dark, comic ride that asks the question; how far would you go to have it all?

Martin Blank; founding artistic director of Theater J in Washington, DC; is the author of ten plays. His full-length drama, The Law of Return, was produced at Center Stage Theater, Jerusalem, Maryland Ensemble Theatre, and was optioned for Broadway. His full-length comedy, Scenes from Life in America, was seen in New York at Ensemble Studio Theatre's Octoberfest. He has served as Artistic Associate for the American Jewish Theatre and American Place Theatre, New York, as well as Literary Manager, Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.
