Set in a small apartment in Williamsburg, CINEPHILIA examines the world of two lost and lonely 20-something lovers, Johnny and Arden. In the midst of spending yet another night together—an on and off trend for 4 years—the two cinephiles cling to their obsessions with film and sex as a way to validate their relationship, even their existence. Movies are their drug, their escape, and their salvation, whether it's Reds, Kill Bill, Breathless, or Rushmore. As we all know: Loving movies is easy...loving people is hard.

The PossEble Theater Company in association with The Celia Rose T. Fitzgerald Memorial Scholarship Fund, and I CAN ACT! Arts Education Outreach Program present three FREE performances of ONCE UPON A WOLF, a wild retelling of many fairy tales – Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, Jack & the Beanstalk and others – through the eyes of the Wolf. In this sidesplitting tale, the Wolf dreams of being the hero instead of the villain; his desires conflict with the way Granny Stinkyfeet tells these stories. Will he be able to save the day? Will Granny Stinkyfeet accept the new and improved Wolf? What happens to the Three Little Pigs and Little Red Riding Hood?
Suitable for ages three (3) and up.
After the Saturday performances (1:00 pm and 5:00 pm), the audience is invited to stay for the FUN FEST! Featuring yummy food, exciting hula hoop contests, freeze dance contests, face painting, t-shirt decorating and much more, the FUN FEST will be the perfect way to celebrate after the show.
The three free performances commemorate the life of Celia Rose T. FitzGerald, a second grade P.S. 41 student who tragically passed away in February 2005.
