RON BOPST (Mr. Ramsey) has been a member of Emerging Artists Theatre since 2005 and recently joined the staff of the Company. Ron has performed in numerous plays with EAT including Bernadette and the Butcher of Broadway (in association with TOSOS2, of which Ron is also a member), which was nominated for a GLAAD Award and Tonylust! The Broadway Bloodbath of 2006!, both by David Bell. Other favorite EAT roles are Larry in Matt Casarino's Larry Gets the Call and Rich in Karen Schiff's Recoil, as well as Bob Cratchit in the benefit reading of Joe Godfrey's A Queer Carol. Originally from Indiana to Chicago to Los Angeles finally winding up in New York City. I started as a dancer with the Jane Berland School of Dance in Whiting, Indiana. My first show was Brigadoon as Harry Beaton which led to almost over 100 shows to date. Including a stop on TV's "Dance Fever" in 1986 (we lost). Some highlights have been touring with Donny Osmond in "Joseph and the Amazing Dreamcoat" as Zebulun and Broadway companies of "AIDA" and "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels".
