"Book of Love" by Michael Weems

Monty’s ‘grueling’ rehab includes two therapists (one for morning, one for afternoon) and a rather knowing wife.

"Guayaba Tree" by Peter Wittenberg
As hungry neighborhood kids pick from Mom's guayaba tree, she smiles. When her son accuses them of stealing, she displays a similar generosity in sharing an unspoken part of her history.

|A Spontaneous Smattering - A 24 Hour Play Festival

Cone Man Running Productions is bringing their fun style of pop-up theatre ONE NIGHT ONLY for a 24 hour play festival!
Six writers are taking up the challenge to pen a short play in only 13 hours with some very specific paramters to keep things interesting: Conor Farrell, Gene Kato, Ben Plopper, Leighza Walker, Michael Weems and Lonnie Westeen.
Six directors will take the handoff the next morning and spend the day actor wrangling to assemble a show on the fly: Gretchen Almoughraby, Kathy Drum, Alan Gardiner-Atkinson, Zona Meyer, Lauren Tunnell and Ricky Welch.
Then you've got nineteen actors who will putting it all on the line to see who can hold it together to be fully blocked and off book in one afternoon! You know you want to come see whether or not they'll be able to pull it off! Featuring the incomparable talents of Tim Ashby, Josh Baker, Billy Chmielewski, Autumn Clack, Lee Anne Denny, Randi Hall, Elizabeth Holcomb, Sierra Irwin, Alane Johnson, Danny Kamin, Suzanne King, Robert Lowe, Bryan Maynard, Ruth McClesky, Melissa McEver, Trish Needom, Eddie Rodriguez, Sam Schnuer, Mark Stanley, and Christine Weems as your humble MC for the evening.
Plus the audience will be voting on the shows in fun categories like "Best Use of Line" and "Best Use of Theme"!
