Karam had his first rendezvous with the theatre at the age of thirteen in India. He is a student of the Method and trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. Karam made his New York debut with Girish Karnad's 'Hayavadana'. Last year the press hailed his "off Broadway" performance in Israel Horovitz's 'The Indian Wants the Bronx' (to be revived in summer 2005). The production was followed by a three week run in Scotland at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Ani Mandara (Conceited Man/Geographer/Ensemble) is thrilled to be making her Off Off-Broadway debut in The Little Prince. A recent graduate of Syracuse University, she recieved her BS in Communications and a minor in dramatic arts. She garnered the Best Actress award at the Connecicut Drama Festival for her portrayal of "Ginya" in Nine Armenians. Other roles include "Kate" in Taming of the Shrew and "Sarah" in Women & Wallace. Clarice Allee (King & Lamplighter) is happy to be back with Nicu's Spoon after participating in the Spring reading series. She served in the Peace Corps in Guyana, South America for two years where she created and directed an all-girls theater group that toured the country performing skits to promote HIV/AIDS awareness. Clarice taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Special Education for three years in a New York City public school. Jovinna was born and raised in Singapore. She spent a few years in Louisiana and Georgia during her undergraduate years where she discovered her passion for acting. With a degree in International Marketing, Jovinna ventured to New York city and got a job at Citibank. Peter is happily returning to Nicu Spoon after a recent run of "Tibet Does Not Exist" as Rinpoche.
