was born & raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her MFA from the Actors Studio in New York, her BA in Theatre & German from Chico State, & studied at the University of Tuebingen, Germany. Roles include: Suzanne (Picasso at the Lapin Agile), & Tracy (Seascape with Sharks and Dancer), Mary (Mary Stuart) Nina (The Seagull), Masha (Three Sisters), Mercy (I Am Yours), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Madame (The Maids) Katherine (The Secret Rapture), Kim (This Isn’t Working): FringeNYC, Amy (Refuge), Governess (The Turn of the Screw), & mercenary killer Danielle Bosola in the new retelling of the Duchess of Malfi, Malfi, Inc. with Milk Can Theatre Company. She wrote the full-length play GREASEMONKEY, (semi-finalist, Princess Grace) originating the role of Mara in its world premiere in NYC, Winter 2013. Her next play, St. Francis (semi-finalist, Princess Grace), premiered successfully in Spring 2013 as a one-woman show; and in August of 2015, debuted at New York International Fringe Festival (Best Director: Stephen Brotebeck). St. Francis is published both in Applause Books' “The Best Plays From American Theatre Festivals 2015” and “Contemporary Monologues for a New Theater 2018”. She has also penned the ten-minute play All In A White Trash Pie, directed by Stephen Brotebeck. Her piece, The Shark Play, was selected for the Final 12 at the Sam French OOB Fest 2017 at Classic Stage Company, and was selected for the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Alaska. Her one-woman show, Good & Kissed, debuted at Midtown International Theater Fest, and was twice and was selected for Capital Fringe in DC this July. She recently received the Puffin Grant from the Puffin Foundation for her proposal of GREASEMONKEY as a feature film. Miranda and Stephen helmed the professional production of John Minigan's Breaking the Shakespeare Code at the Greenhouse Theater in Chicago in June 2014. followed by the New York premiere in FringeNYC, August 2014. She played Anna in both productions. In her spare time, she does road races & mud runs, eats way too much junk food, & watches too many Hallmark Movies. Proud member of AEA.
