Jonathan Richards

Jonathan Richards appeared recently on the Santa Fe stage in Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys. He played Henry in William Gibson's Handy Dandy, Thomas of Celano in Deborah Dennison's The Lion in the Lamb, The Man in Yasmina Reza's The Unexpected Man, Dalton Trumbo in Trumbo: Red, White, & Blacklisted, and John Barrymore in Barrymore: One Helluva Life. He has been seen in leading roles in My Old Lady, A Walk in the Woods, Art, Sylvia, Blithe Spirit, Guys & Dolls, My Fair Lady, Equus, Passion, Dear Liar, The Merchant of Venice, Benchwarmers, and A West End Christmas. Film work includes Alan Arkin’s short film "Blood: Thicker than Water", Alice Van Buren's "Ink", and Terry Sanders’s Oscar-nominated "Never Give Up: the 20th Century Odyssey of  Herbert Zipper". TV includes Breaking Bad. He is an editorial cartoonist, journalist, and film critic. He has written books, plays, and screenplays, and has done film translation in New York and Paris.
