Robert Gonzales Jr.

Robert Gonzales Jr., a native Texan, moved to New York City in 2002 and since that time, he has been very fortunate to been performing almost non-stop in New York City and New Jersey. Robert is a singer (trained in musical theater, legit and opera), actor, dancer, director, choreographer and music director.  Robert performed Off-Broadway in Fools in Love in the starring role of Puck and created the role of Caliban for the Off-Broadway production of Tempest Tossed Fools, both shows produced by Millennium Talent Group.  He appeared in Fools in Love during its run at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) and was the only person ever to appear as Caliban during the run of Tempest Tossed Fools.  Other Off-Broadway productions include Kennedy’s Children and KNB–The Musical.  Robert has also originated roles in four productions written by Barbara Kahn that were performed at Theater for the New City: 1918: A House Divided, Ghosts of 14th Street, Walking from Rumania, and, most recently, Birds on Fire. Robert has also appeared in numerous Off-Off-Broadway, workshops, staged readings and regional productions.
