Tess Middlebrook

Tess Middlebrook (Jessie) began acting in NYC in 2007.  A character actress, she recently appeared in The Tie that Binds, which debuted at The Producers Club in May of this year. She has performed in film, television, webisodes and numerous Off Off Broadway productions.  Tess currently performs with her improv team 'Fat Computer' via the Upright Citizens Brigade and numerous other clubs around the city.  She also produces her own web-series about an actress trapped in a cooks body called “Cooking with Schizophrenia”, and is currently writing her own one woman show, entitled Different kinds of dumb, which she does over 7 different characters each with their own special type of ‘low IQ’.  A chef in her former life, you can see Tess on the Food Network on the Hit Series "CHOPPED".  The show premiers in October 2010 where she does all sorts of cooking and comedy for your entertainment.  Tess has trained at Stella Adler, The UCB Theater, and through private coaches such as Sybil Lines of the Royal Shakespeare Company In London, and Becky Drysdale of IO and Second City in Chicago.  She is thrilled to be working with such dedicated and talented people and is playing Jessie in this production of Personal Appearance at Wings Theater.
