Jesse R. Tendler

An actor by the age of four, Jesse has an extensive and diverse list of credits. His theatre and musical theatre credits range from Hamlet to Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood to the Velveteen Rabbit, and also include various new works. Television and film credits include: The Ellen Burstyn Show (series regular); The Secret, Hallmark Television Special (co-starring w/Kirk Douglas) for which he earned a Youth in Film Awards nomination for Best Child Actor in a Television Movie; Twelve (v/o, w/Joel Schumacher); Guiding Light; Are You Afraid of the Dark?; and Law & Order, among others. Jesse has also appeared in numerous television commercials (one of which won him a Clio Award for Best Child Actor in a TV Commercial), radio spots, and video games including Bully and two editions of Grand Theft Auto (Rockstar Games). Though an actor first and foremost, Jesse has enjoyed making the jump into producing as well, which began with the co-founding of Intimation Theatre Company in 2007. Jesse continues to produce a diverse range of film and theatrical projects on a regular basis. Jesse attributes the rebirth of his love for acting to his 4 years in the cast of the Mask & Wig Club of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his creative endeavors, Jesse is also a freelance editor/proofreader, an expert standardized test tutor, and the coordinator of ongoing volunteer trips to Guatemala. Jesse is happy to be working with such a dedicated, ambitious, and talented group of people in Mind the Art.
