David Carson

DAVID L. CARSON (Reader) has been a ‘native New Yorker' for 35 years. As a member of Metropolitan Playhouse he has acted in or directed over 25 productions and workshops over the last 16 years. He has acted and/or directed for Reverie Productions, 78th St. Theatre Lab, Bombshell, and many other New York theatre groups. In the NYC Int'l Fringe Festival he performed Michael Bettencourt's mono-drama Mine Eyes (2003) and appeared in Danny Ashkenasi's opera Beyond (2005). He directed the original productions of Jeffrey Solomon's MOTHER/son and Robin Goldfin's The Education Of Rav Hyme Goldfarb. Among his favorite regional experiences was playing Richard Nixon in Russell Lee's Nixon’s Nixon in Williamsburg, VA, last Fall.
