Mark T Evans

Mark T Evans is a composer and musical director originally from Long Island. Most recently he was the musical director and orchestrator of Topsy Turvy Loves, conceived and directed by Robert Sickenger, also at Wings Theater. Mark has just received his MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He has written music for I Am Jim Thompson with Eric Kubo and Zac Kline, and Human Interest with Gena Oppenheim. In 2008, he was the recipient of the ASCAP Foundation’s Frederick Loewe Award for Emerging Musical Theatre Composers. Before returning to New York, Mark lived in Philadelphia for eight years, where he worked for many theaters in and around the city, including the Arden Theatre Co., the Walnut Street Theater, and the Prince Music Theater.
