Gavin Starr Kendall

Gavin Starr Kendall (Will) is from Texas. His recent performances at the Brick include Kroff/Arno in Piper McKenzie’s The Granduncle Quadrilogy, Dern in Old Kent Road’s The Protestants, Orev in Piper McKenzie’s Babylon, Babylon, and Franz Bieberkopf in Old Kent Road Theater’s Death at Film Forum. Also in New York he’s been seen as James the Less in kef productions’ Corpus Christi, Ayatollah Khomeini in The Butane Group’s Operation AJAX, and Pylades/Mentor in red handle/Ontological’s Yellow Electras. Regionally he’s played Einstein in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Len in Book of Days, Buzz in October, and Hugo in God's Man in Texas. He received his BFA from the University of Oklahoma, trained as a Journeyman at The Warehouse Theater under Jack Young and studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Gavin founded the puppet improv group Afternoon Playland who will also be playing in the Anti-Depressant Festival. He likes cats.
