Ramona Pula

Ramona Pula most recently directed Andrew Rothkin’s Bubby’s Shadow (MITF 2008 Award recipient for Outstanding Overall Production of a New Drama). In New York she has worked at La Mama ETC (acting), and with White Rabbit Theatre in conjunction with Spotlight On Productions (acting, directing and producing). She has studied acting with The Barrow Group, and producing with the Commercial Theater Institute, a project of Theatre Development Fund (TDF) and The Broadway League, Inc. Ramona has created a formal production company, Mo Pula Productions, which is a new entity dedicated to producing original work by New York artists, including but not limited to plays, music compositions and dance. Bubby's Shadow marked the first project under the auspices of this company. Currently in pre¬production for Witkacy's The Beelzebub Sonata, for which an original composition is being created by Clint Edwards. Originally from Baltimore (hey hon!), where she produced and directed many theatre productions, Ramona graduated from Towson University, Maryland, with a BA in Theatre Arts.
