Mira Gibson

Mira Gibson - Current member of the Youngblood Writers Group at Ensemble Studio Theatre, playwriting credits include: childhood Montana, produced at the Midtown International Theater festival, 2008. Gibson directed this production which was nominated for five MITF awards including Outstanding Overall Production of a Play and Outstanding Playwriting for a New Script. childhood Montana was a Semi-Finalist at the Lark Play Development Center, 2008. Perverted Roberta, produced at the Performing Arts Center at Bard College under the direction of Ken Rus Schmoll. Perverted Robera received a reading at NYC’s Ten Grand and a Burger’s Cold Cuts Reading Series, 2006. In 2004, Gibson wrote a short play under commission for Water Monsters, Inc. a NYC based experimental theater company, performances took place at public parks around NYC. Gibson graduated with a B.A. in theater from Bard College. Gibson lives and writes in Brooklyn.
