Roy Clary has appeared off-Broadway, off-off-Broadway, and with numerous regional theaters including the Seattle Repertory Theatre, the Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival, the Cleveland Playhouse, the Barter Theater, and the Brandeis University Professional Theater with Morris Carnovsky. He has performed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music with the Brooklyn Philharmonic Chorus in a concert reading of Frostiana. Favorite roles range from Edmund in King Lear, to Mosca in Volpone, to Adam in the Diaries of Adam and Eve, to George in Chapter Two, and to Nat Miller in Ah! Wilderness. In New York, he was most recently seen in a staged reading of Sergei Burbank’s War Crimes/Slots. He has also directed in regional theater and appeared in film and television. He has an MFA in theater arts from the Goodman Theater School and studied acting with Uta Hagen. He is married with two children.
