Carrie Nagy
Carrie has over 20 years experience in dance and 8 years experience as a licensed cosmetologist/hair designer. A fashion model since the age of 15, (working in runway/print and commercial; including Guess, Farouk and Paul Mitchell), Carrie delivers a new and exciting energy to our team! Her dance education includes training with Lainie Munro, Brian Green, Bev B., Rhapsody, and "So you Think you can Dance" Judges Wade Robson and Brian Friedman at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and with the BLADE Dance Academy, NYC. Carrie, a graduate of Capri Institute of Hair Design, has studied closely with makeup and hair styling/color companies such as Aveda, Goldwell, Redken, and Paul Mitchell and has trained with high profile stylists to the stars Carla Ford, Tom Harris, and also Bravo's reality tv show "Shear Genius" star Tabatha Coffey through Panico Salon in Ridgewood, NJ where she was also a stylist/colorist. Carrie brings a unique mix of Hip Hop/Street /Jazz Funk Choreography to Well Urned Productions, and has been a dance program director at numerous locations, including: NJSDA/12 Miles West Theatre, MBS Martial Arts Academy, Tenafly, NJ, West Orange PTA- Mt. Pleasant Elementary, West Orange Broadway Dance Connection, Act up-Kid's On Stage, and Action Theatre Conservatory. Clifton, NJ. Musical Theatre Choreography credits includes "Seussical" the Musical, "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown", "Surf's Up!" (the Original 60's musical) and "Sleeping Beauty". Other Choreography Credits include "Requiem For A Vampire" through Gold Castle Films and The Taste Dancers (back-up for electro pop/rock band) for Taste Productions. Carrie has also choreographed and assisted with direction for numerous Kids Summer Workshop Showcases, Kids Professional Traveling Troupes, Theatre Enrichment Programs, as well as Children's Conservatory Theatre and "Kid's Cabaret". She has even been credited as an award winning cheerleading coach, with her choreography winning 1st place in an ICF competition. Carrie has danced professionally with DDM Entertainment - Fairlawn, NJ, BLADE Entertainment - NYC, and Deb's Family Disco - NYC.
