Richmond Shepard

RICHMOND SHEPARD (Director/Mr. Parmegian) has appeared on over 100 TV shows and in many films as a Mime and as an actor: "The Jeffersons", "The FBI", "That Girl", "Dick Van Dyke" (1990), "Ally McBeal", etc., and played a transvestite kidnapper on "Kojak", but most of his work has been on the stage including the leads in Counselor at Law by Elmer Rice and Travesties by Tom Stoppard in Los Angeles. Most recently he played the priest in Our Lady of 121st St. by Stephen Adly Guirgis and the title role in BJ Lang Presents by Yabo Yablonsky. He started America's first ensemble Mime troupe in 1952, and performed with his company throughout the U.S. until 1987. He directed and performed with two improvisational comedy troupesó The L.A.Cabaret- 1967-77 and Noo Yawk Tawk- 1988-91 and 2003-2005. He regularly performs at The Playhouse in Derry, Ireland.
