Mackenzie Westmoreland co-wrote and directed THE KATRINA PROJECT: Hell and High Water (Winner, Best Director/Best Play, Mississippi Theatre Association 2006; Winner, Sue Ann Crow Human & Civil Rights Award 2007, Published by Playscripts Inc.), which appeared as part of The Culture Project's Impact Festival as well as performances at the Lincoln Theatre, Washington DC and Linda Chapin Theatre, Orlando, FL. For ADAKIA ENTERTAINMENT, Mackenzie has directed TWO THIEVES, A GIRL NAMED FLORINE AND AN EXTREMELY RARE FLAWLESS 12 CARAT FIRE OPAL DIAMOND (American Theatre of Actors), BASH (Stella Adler Studios), CLOSER (Wings Theatre) and co-produced TAPE (Studio Dante). Other credits include 1918, Southern Playwrights Theatre Project NY; Never Been to Me, What I Missed in the 80's, Shaking the Cage, She's at Home, Sanctuary Theatre Co.
