Robert Z Grant

ROBERT Z. GRANT is a New York based actor and improviser who has appeared at Center Stage NY, The York Theatre, American Globe Theatre, Caroline's on Broadway, The NY IMPROV, and on NBC and VH1, among others. Robert is a founding member of The Collective NY, and has performed in Ionesco's 'The Lesson,' '360, an original adaptation of La Ronde,' Brian Leider's 'Me Equals This,' Collective Comedy, and various readings. He spent two months performing and teaching in South Africa with The Glass Contraption in the Summer of 2007. The show he helped develop and perform, 'TED,' was named one of the "Ten Best of the Festival" at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival.

Robert performed for years with ComedySportzNY and is the artistic director of Codependent Theater Co., hailed as "one of the Top 3 Best Improv Groups in New York." Credits also include the hit improvised musical comedy 'Broadway's Next H!T Musical' (2007 MAC Award). Robert studied acting with Bill Esper at William Esper Studio (2007 graduate), dance at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, clown with Christopher Bayes at Juilliard, and improvisation with Ralph Buckley. Robert is a member of Actors' Equity, and a founding member of The Collective.
