Blake Bradford

Blake Bradford is an Emmy Award winning writer/director whose theatrical work has appeared all over the US and internationally in Canada, Mexico, Greece, Scotland/England, Denmark, Italy and South Africa. His original plays I, Undertow, The Unfortunate Honeymoon of Tony and Steve, Dance at Bataan, The Last Cloud, and Gay Slave Handbook are actively seen in the regional circuits and NYC. As a director, his most acclaimed work has been with two time Emmy Winner Joan Darling and Bill Svanoe. Blake has directed Ms. Darling all over the US in Svanoe's Quisisana, Lost and Found, Pants on Fire, Callback, The Last Silver Zephyer, and The Last Laugh. Other NYC includes MidsummerSnake in Fridge, Dark of the Moon, Cherry Orchard, Twilight of the Golds, Tempest, Arsenic & Old Lace, Spitfire Grill and Jellyroll Shoes. He serves as Associate Artistic Director of the Wings Theatre, where he runs Zephyer Rep.  Blake is currently on the staff of "Live from Lincoln Center" (PBS), where they won a 2008 Emmy for Madama Butterfly. Other TV credits include "The Big Gay Sketch Show" (LOGO/MTV), "Showtime at the Apollo" (NBC), "Drama Desk Awards" (PBS) and "Arthur Ashe Kids Day" (CBS).
