Shelley Karen Molad
Shelley was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She started acting at a young age in local community theaters and played the role of Sissy Eaton in a touring production of For Married Only, Kitty Verdun in Charlie's Aunt, and the role of Anne Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank at The BiggestLil' Theater in Texas. She won an award for Best Actress as Lady Politic in Volpone at the University Interscholastic League One-Act Play Competition as well as the Outstanding Drama Award in high school. She studied the techniques of Meisner, Stanislavski, and Uta Hagen at the Summer Theater Workshop Conservatory at the University of Texas. She is currently studying theater and creative writing at Sarah Lawrence Collegewhere she recently performed in The Vagina Monologues and The Rom Project.

She is very excited to be a new member of the Actors Project NYC and is thrilled to have the opportunity to study and perform in New York.
