Most recently Maree Johnson appeared in a concert tribute to Charles Strouse at Merkin Hall. Musical Theater roles include The Widow in Zorba for The Berkshire Theatre Festival; Fosca in the Wilma Theater's production of Passion; Emily in Myths & Hymns for the Prince Music Theater and Mrs. Johnston in Blood Brothers.

Born in Sydney and now living in New York, Maree has starred in many Australian musicals: roles include Christine Daae in Phantom Of The Opera; Grizabella in Cats; Maria in Westside Story; Eliza in My Fair Lady; Isabel/Helen in Scrooge; Young Heidi and Young Sally in two separate concert performances of Stephen Sondheim's Follies and the lead role in Sondheim's You're Gonna Love Tomorrow.
