 Boomerang Theatre Company (Tim Errickson, Artist Director; Sue Abbott, Managing Director) will revive Tom Stoppard’s serious comedy, The Real Thing, March 3-24 as part of BFG Collective’s six month long residency at The Secret Theatre (44 02 23rd Street, Long Island City). The production will be directed by Cailin Heffernan (Boomerang’s Summer and Smoke) and will feature Laurie Dawn*, Douglas B. Giorgis*, Kate Kenney, Synge Maher, David Nelson and Aidan Redmond*.The creative team will include Set Design by Nikki Black, Costume Design by Cheryl McCarron, and Lighting Design by Kia Rogers. Stoppard’s serious comedy of love and wit, marriage and reality, loss and fidelity. Annie and Henry shed their significant others to be together at last. But even when you find it, how do you sustain and protect “the real thing”?

The Real Thing will run in rep with Boomerang Theatre Company’s revival of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, March 1-18, and the NYC premiere of Melissa Gawlowski’s Spring Tides, March 9-25.
