Your GPS tells you how to get where you’re going, but what if it could tell you more? Dave has fallen on hard times. He’s out of work, drowning in debt, and his wife is threatening to leave him. Then suddenly his car’s navigation system starts giving him the answers… to everything.  

WorkShop Theater Company will revive their New York Innovative Theatre Award winning production of Eddie Antar’s The Navigator, February 9-March 3 in their Main Stage Theater (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, 4th Floor). The production will be directed by Outstanding Direction Award winner Leslie Kincaid Burby and will feature Kelly Anne Burns* (nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role), Nicole Taylor* (nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Featured Role), Joseph Franchini* and Michael Gnat* (2009 nytheatre.com Person of the Year). The creative team will include Sound Design by Quentin Chiappetta (nominated for Outstanding Sound Design), Lighting Design by Duane Pagano (winner for Outstanding Lighting Design), and Set Design by Jen Varbalow.

The Navigator received a developmental Play in Process production in the Jewel Box Theater in 2010. With only a $300 budget the show swept the New York Innovative Theatre Awards with eight nominations, including Outstanding Production of a Play and Outstanding Original Full-Length Script. The Navigator was the most nominated show at the 2011 New York Innovative Theatre Awards.
