Studied piano and classic percussion in the National Conservatory of Music, DR and had 14 years of ballet training. Received a Psychology Degree in 2007 and moved to New York almost 3 years ago where she recently graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Like with most things he has done in his life Kyle Bostic happened to trip and fall into his future profession. Performing a speech in front of an Oral Communications class at Mansfield University, Kyle had the class falling out of their seats when he told them about a misadventure that happened during a basketball practice. His professor after class told him he should pursue a career in standup comedy. After not listening to the professor’s advice and getting a D in the class, Kyle went on to various other options before it dawned on him six years later that she was probably right. In the summer of 2006, he embarked on a journey that he has been riding the wave ever since. Utilizing a vast array of different experiences, a swift wit and a unique variety of pitches in his voice, Kyle exuberation carries a crowd through all the pain and agony he has foreseen with the assistance of a smile reassuring them that he is alright. His uniqueness, though he doesn’t ignore his color of skin, manages to transcend traditional black white stereotypes and begin discussion of humanity as a race. This young man has made his way up the comedy ranks fast. He has hosted shows at various locations in the city including the World famous Caroline’s comedy club. He was a semifinalist in the world-renowned March Madness competition in 2009 and has been a feature act in numerous comedy clubs across the country. Kyle has also appeared in a few short films.
