This is Jason second production with the Thespians. Jason Lord- Surratt is a director, improviser and educator and co-founder of Lefthip Productions. He began his endeavors in improvisation in Syracuse, NY. He went on to study at Second City in Chicago, while performing in and co-conceiving independent work. Long-form improv works conceived and directed by Jason include: Lady Liberty and 61 Dead Men, Subway Series and Grassroots Grazing. Selected directing credits include Brian Flowers for the Brooklyn Play Festival, and Vanities, Revenge of a King Fringe 2006, and The Heidi Chronicles in various NY theaters.

At various times an actor, director, playwright, playwriting coach, stagehand and producer -- Bob returned to New York Theater in September 2008 after two decades as a journalist, writer and performer in the hinterlands of the American Deep South. His recent New York City efforts include having three of his short plays --  "Two in the Chamber", "Nerve Damage" and "Going Over" performed. He stage managed "Try, Try Again" for Tap Monkey Productions and ULU Theatre's production of "Pizza Man" for the Midtown International Theatre Festival. His recent directing credits include "Congoja", "The Amaranthine Thread" and "Nikita" by Rosebud Ben-Oni, "Odd Jobs" by Jennifer Marvel, "Four Dry Tongues" by Alex Dremann, "For Your Amusement" and "The Ubi" by Katharine Henner, and "The Elephant. in the Room is Feeding the Ducks" by Kimberly Shelby-Szyszko. His most recent piece, "Count Down the Thunder" by John Bolan, was performed as part of Endtimes Productions' "Vignettes of the Apocalypse-2010". He is also a co-founder of Left Hip Productions, which serves as a production management team for artists and theater spaces interested in mounting productions without having the burning desire to produce them. Left Hip also develops From the Hip theater festivals and original productions in New York City. His recent New York stage acting credits include "Max" in "The Corridor" by Matjaz Zupancic and "Mike" in "Good Night, Sleep Tight. Don't Let the Flesh-Eating Demon Babies Bite" by Terrence Brennan. Laura Baron is a fearless actor,” says NY Indie director Ian Fischer. A classically trained vocalist, she’s sung with such celebrated musicians as Bobby McFerrin and Sir David Willcocks.  Her favorite stage roles include Olivia in Twelfth Night and Philomele in The Love Of The Nightingale.  Laura keeps her acting skills sharp at the Deena Levy Theatre Studio.  In her spare time she races motorcycles and practices yoga.
