adapted and directed by Michael Lluberes
A new play about a group of elementary school students who confront their teacher and transform their cold classroom into a playground for their imagination. Based on the widely-banned, now out-of-print book, The Geranium on the Window Sill Just Died But Teacher You Went Right On by Albert Cullum, which sold over half a million copies, The Geranium Theatre Company has transformed his book expressing children's inner thoughts and feelings into an emotionally moving theatrical landscape of music, movement and poetry, where windows open to let in paper rain, crayons color children's faces, walls dance, and a dead geranium on the window sill comes back to life.
